Growing up in Germany I got the chance to eat a variety of international dishes and I miss them. Finding this gem was pure coincidence by my daughter. Big bonus most dishes, if not all, are gluten free. I highly recommend this restaurant. The service is amazing and makes one feel very welcomed.

Update Table service. Food served on ceramic tableware. Comfortable upscale feel. Friendly attentive waitstaff. Fantastic lunch specials. Bargain priced. Most importantly the food is excellent. Flavors abundant; zesty Persian house dressing, garden fresh greens and vegetables, tangy tzatziki, spicy crispy crunchy falafels, meaty flame broiled kabab koobideh, delicate fluffy saffron rice. Five stars on my plate. ******************************** Yeah, I can go 5 stars on this one……. The restaurant does appear to be clean and well run. The interior is a little bit of a surprise in comparison to the outside. Very nice, clean, comfortable, decorative restaurant. There is a lot of variation in Mediterranean cuisine. I like hummus that leaves me with garlic breath for two hours after I eat it. Theirs is very mild but fresh with good flavors from the chickpeas and tahini. They add a spice blend sprinkle and a little olive oil for a very smooth tasty dip. I really liked the toasted pita for dipping. We had the Koobideh Kabob and a Falafel Wrap. The Koobideh Kabob is two generous skewers of chargrilled ground beef on rice with a fire roasted tomato and a salad. Everything was delicious, even the rice. The Falafel Wrap came with a fresh salad. My wife said the falafels in the wrap were well seasoned. Very good Service. Nice place, that I have added to my list of preferred Middle Eastern/Mediterranean restaurants in Tulsa

I recently dined at this Saffron restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The food was delicious, with the chicken kabob standing out as one of the best dishes I've ever tried. The gyro was also amazing, and the staff were not only efficient but also incredibly friendly. What's more, the prices were reasonable, making it a fantastic overall experience. Highly recommend!

Nice clean restaurant. The place was empty, and our server was slow getting around to us. We ordered a little of everything. The Stuffed Grape leaves are AMAZING! The Hummus and Tabouli were great too. We didn't care for the stews. The Walnut stew was very sweet but okay. The Split pea stew was very tangy/sour, which wasn't really our thing. The kebabs were good. I would go back just for the grape leaves alone. They were amazing.

Saffron was recommended to us, and that person is now my best friend. The place was clean and quiet. We were seated right away. We ordered the baba ghanoush as appetizer. It was smokey, lemony, and minty. So delicious. I ordered the Zereshk Polo which was tender and juicy, and the almonds and pistachios add a nice crunch. My husband ordered the Saffron Combo platter with Shish and Gyro meat. He barely let me try the gyro meat which was delicious. We took baklava and rose cake to go home which was a perfect treat. Our server was so nice, I wish I had asked for her name. She kept our drinks filled, and checked in us regularly. Saffron is definitely our new go to.
